Fully Automated
Solara designs and builds equipment that automates the process of assembling parts into subassemblies or final products. Components of automated assembly equipment include:
- Part Feeders – Bowls, Hoppers, Conveyors
- Pick and Place Stations
- Index Mechanisms – Slides, Dial Tables, Cam Driven or Pneumatic
- Part Assembly – Pressing, Staking, Riveting, Welding, Screwing
- Labeling and Packaging
- QC/QA Inspection – Sensors, Vision, Pokyoke
- PLC or PC Controls
Semi Automated
Semi automated systems incorporate many of the components of a fully automated machine, but still involve some operator interaction in the assembly process or to maintain feed systems.
Work Cells
Work cells are comprised of manual and/or semi-automated stations that are arranged to allow for component flow to produce a complete part or assembly. These systems often require part/component staging and material handling between the cells.
