06/08 – Solara Solutions is System Integration Partner with Kuka Robotics
With a full range of SCARA and multi-axis robots, Kuka Robotics the robot system of choice for industrial assembly, packaging part handing and custom applications. Solara Solutions is expanding its engineering and automation services as a Systems Integration Partner with Kuka, covering North Carolina and the southeast.
Solara President Steve Crouch explained: ‘As our engineering, machine building and automation business has grown, we recognized an opportunity to leverage our core competencies by offering robot systems integration in our markets. We have used robots in automated assembly applications in the past, and we look to provide solutions for specialized material handling and palletizing applications in this partnership with Kuka. We work with different robot manufacturers to meet customer specifications, however, we found Kuka offered the most comprehensive product line and engineering support network.’
