03/07 – Solara Solutions Moves Expands with New Morrisville Facility
Automation engineering firm Solara Solutions announces a major expansion with new operations in Morrisville, NC. The company designs and builds automated assembly equipment for manufacturing companies in the Carolinas and Virginia. The new facility, just north of the RDU airport, doubles Solara’s office, machine shop and manufacturing space, and also adds training rooms and an automation/vision lab. This move comes on the anniversary of the company’s third year in business. Solara is a wholly owned subsidiary of technology development firm, Innovatech, Inc.
Solara President Steve Crouch explained: ‘This is a big move for us, literally and figuratively. We had maxed out our previous space in Raleigh. The new building doubles our engineering and shop area, and adds training and lab resources we did not have before. The new facility also presents a much stronger corporate presence. While we now have a complete building to maintain, we really needed this move to keep apace with the growth in our engineering and automation business.’
